Mark Martin FCA CTA
Mark, the senior partner, co-founded Caldwell Penn in 1993. Mark qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990 and then specialised in tax by studying for The Chartered Institute of Taxation exams, qualifying first time in October 1991.
Mark has advised large multi-national corporations, medium sized companies and start up operations on all aspects of tax and accountancy, during a career spanning over 25 years. In particular he enjoys regular meetings with clients to help develop accounting and tax solutions to help them achieve their business and financial objectives.
Mark spends much of his spare time with his family, though he does enjoy watching football and playing some golf when time permits.

Michael Vernon-Dier FCCA
Mike is the audit and accounts partner, having joined Caldwell Penn from Baker Tilly in 1998, where he qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant.
Mike is able to offer extensive financial and accounting advice to the firms larger clients who consistently benefit from his wealth of experience and knowledge gained whilst working for a top tier National Accountancy Practice. In particular he enjoys the opportunity to work closely with clients on corporate restructuring initiatives from a financial perspective utilising the expertise of his co-Partner Mark Martin who will advise on all aspects of taxation.
Mike enjoys playing golf and hockey, when he is not spending time with his family.

Katie Webb BSc(Hons) FCCA
Katie is the firm’s senior audit and accounts manager, having joined Caldwell Penn from Taylor Cocks in 2007, where she qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in February 2005.
Katie is the first point of contact on accounting and audit issues, where she works closely with her team to deliver up to date and relevant financial information to the firm’s clients. Since joining Caldwell Penn, Katie has also been instrumental in securing both the ACCA Platinum Approved Employer status and ICAEW Training Employer status for the firm.
Katie enjoys spending her spare time with her husband and daughter. When she gets a free weekend, she can be found teaching scuba diving for the University of Surrey Sub-Aqua Club and BSAC SE Region.
